Welcome to Gilfoyle Electrical Services
Gilfoyle Electrical Services was established in 2020, with more than 15 years in the electrical industry. We cover all electrical work in domestic and commercial settings, from fault finding and landlord certification through to full installations.
Every job is done to the current wiring regulations, fully insured and guaranteed. We're NAPIT registered and IPAF trained, and work across Staffordshire and the North West, from Runcorn, Widnes and Warrington to Cannock.
What we do
Our Services
Fuseboard upgrades
An old fuse board is one of the most common things an EICR picks up, and one of the more straightforward things to put right.
EICRs & certification
An Electrical Installation Condition Report checks the wiring, the consumer unit and every circuit in a property, and records anything unsafe or needing attention.
Installations & extensions
New building work needs new circuits, and a kitchen refit needs more sockets and dedicated supplies than the old one had.
Fault finding
A circuit that keeps tripping, a socket that's gone dead or lights that flicker for no obvious reason all have a cause.
Rewires
A rewire replaces the cables, accessories and usually the consumer unit in a property.
Outdoor & garden rooms
Outside electrics have to cope with weather, so they're done differently from indoor work: armoured cable, weatherproof fittings and RCD protection on every outdoor circuit.
EV chargers
A home charge point needs its own circuit from the consumer unit, protection suited to an electric car, and a unit mounted where you actually park.
Electric showers
An electric shower draws more power than almost anything else in the house, so it needs its own circuit sized for the shower's rating, RCD protection and an isolator you can reach.
Domestic CCTV
A home CCTV system is cameras where they'll actually see something, cabling that will last outdoors, and a recorder set up so you can look at it from your phone.
Commercial
We work for shops, offices, warehouses, schools and car parks, from a single new socket to relighting a whole site.

Extremely pleased with the work George carried out in my property, George completed a full rewire, added outside lighting and power, completed second fixing and a new fuse board. He was very efficient, very clean and tidy, great value for money and went the extra mile (for example offering to fill holes/giving me advice on other parts of the my project). Highly recommend.

The fuse box blew, I had no power at all, rang George in the morning and he came round in an hour and managed to get the sockets and living room live, then he came round the next morning and in limited space fitted a new fuse box set-up. It is a top job, well tidy and no mess. Very professional and personable at the same time. Highly recommended!

Half 4 on a Friday dark afternoon and all power went... Called on the off chance maybe able to help... Tried to talk me through, but still couldn't get it on. He came out about an hour later and resolved the issue. Explained the fault and what needs to be done. Excellent, professional and friendly service. Would 100% recommend!

George did a great job installing Ring floodlight cameras and a Ring siren to the exterior of our house. He also did a few other electrical jobs which we've been wanting to get done for some time. Very helpful, courteous and friendly. Communication was great - he didn't expect you to stay in all day for when he decided to show up like many trades people I've had in the past. All his work was spot on with a great finish and tidied up after as well. George is definitely my new go-to electrician!
